About Jim Woods

It's my desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others...through music, teaching, preaching, or just being a friend that will take time to listen.  I've served as worship leader, assistant pastor, youth pastor, children's worker, and small group leader.

I am a graduate of Thomas Heyward Academy. I attended one year at Charleston Southern University...where I met my lovely bride, Lindy. At CSU, I led worship for the Baptist Student Union and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. We then moved to Tulsa, OK to attend Rhema Bible Training Center. I graduated from Rhema in '92 with an emphasis in Youth Ministry.  We have 2 beautiful daughters, Andi Lynn & Kaydence Anne.

In 2005, I answered the call of God to the mission field of Zimbabwe, Africa. I partnered with Rev. Agrippa Dube of Zimbabwe to help the churches, pastors, leaders, and orphans in Zimbabwe. Sadly, Rev. Agrippa passed away, September 1, 2013, but we are grateful, and yet very humble, for being able to help the precious people in Zimbabwe while he was with us!

In 2012, I traveled to Liberia, West Africa for the first time. Since that time, through our partner ship with Rev. Andrew Jaysay, Sr., we have assisted the people of Liberia with various projects including: installing wells for clean drinking water & providing food for orphans. We are currently raising funds to build an orphan home & school in the much needed area of Pobleh Town & Shakpeh Town in Sinoe County.

Thanks for dropping by my website! Your prayers and financial support are greatly appreciated!
